Exciting Opportunity for a Robotics Machine Learning Engineer:
We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to contribute to our dynamic team of experienced engineers, researchers, and scientists. In this role, you will be tasked with developing and implementing cutting-edge algorithms, rigorously evaluating them in both simulated and real-world settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborative Innovation: Work alongside cross-disciplinary teams to pinpoint opportunities for leveraging machine learning techniques to tackle intricate challenges.
- Model Design and Development: Create, refine, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms tailored to meet specific business objectives.
- Solution Optimization: Develop scalable and efficient software solutions to seamlessly integrate machine learning models into operational systems.
- Testing and Validation: Execute comprehensive testing and validation of machine learning models to ensure their robustness and dependability.
- Continuous Learning: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning and share promising research insights with the team.
- Mentorship: Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications:
- Educational Credentials: A Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Professional Experience: Over 3 years of proven experience with diverse ML methodologies, particularly in areas such as dexterous manipulation, computer vision for robotics, or natural language processing.
- Software Development: More than 4 years of experience in software engineering, focusing on the development and deployment of production-quality applications.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in ROS2, parallel computing technologies (e.g., CUDA, OpenMP), and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Production Experience: Experience in deploying ML models in production environments and familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
- Research Contributions: Publications in reputable AI, ML, or robotics conferences are highly valued.
Essential Skills:
- Programming Skills: Strong command of Python or C++.
- Machine Learning Knowledge: Extensive understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and natural language processing.
- Framework Proficiency: Familiarity with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
