We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to fulfill the role of Maintenance Millwright
at our operational facility.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on heavy machinery and components to guarantee optimal performance and operational efficiency.
- Ensure equipment reliability and minimize operational interruptions.
- Implement planned preventative maintenance for production machinery and other essential services.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues with machinery and equipment, identifying root causes and applying effective solutions to reduce downtime.
- Perform repairs, replacements, and installations of mechanical components, including bearings, shafts, gears, and conveyor systems, while adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Follow all safety regulations and protocols during maintenance tasks, ensuring a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and inventory levels, to monitor maintenance schedules and equipment history.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team and plant personnel to resolve issues effectively.
- Coordinate with other maintenance team members, production, and engineering staff to enhance equipment performance and address maintenance-related concerns.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, offering insights and recommendations to boost equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in maintenance techniques, participating in training sessions and workshops as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid certificate of competency/license issued by the province of Ontario in the field of 'Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A) with certificate of Apprenticeship'.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Millwright/Mechanic in a manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety.
- Familiarity with plant safety policies and procedures.
- Physical capability to stand, stoop, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs, including above and below shoulder level.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
- Fundamental understanding of Preventative Maintenance Programs [CMMS].
- Ability to troubleshoot various types of industrial equipment, from basic to complex.
- Capability to read equipment blueprints/schematics.
- Proficiency in safely operating power and hand tools, along with all related safety equipment.
- Availability to work various shifts.
