Job Title: Senior Commercial Banking Director

At Banque Nationale du Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Banking Director to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Banking department, you will be responsible for growing our portfolio of business clients and developing business opportunities in your market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop business opportunities in your market, increase your commercial client base, and establish business development strategies
  • Help your clients attain their business objectives by proposing financial strategies based on the most suitable combination of Bank products and services
  • Negotiate the terms and conditions of agreements with clients, while making sure that they meet risk management standards and profitability criteria
  • Draw up business development plans
  • Work with the Manager – Financing Solutions
  • Actively participate in various networking activities (cocktails, conferences, etc.)
  • Work in synergy with all the other departments of the Bank
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 7 years' experience
  • Experience in sales and business development
  • Experience in analysis of financial statements
  • Experience in commercial credit
  • Network of professional contacts among local medium-sized enterprises and large companies, an asset
