Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Trades Helper to join our team at Oil City Ready Mix Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will assist in various aspects of construction, including loading and transporting materials, erecting scaffolding, and assisting in drilling and blasting rock.

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from construction sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
Requirements
  • Will train.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.

Various locations.
