Job Summary

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist to join our team in the Hip and Knee ASAP program. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with orthopedic surgeons to provide expert care to patients with hip and knee pain issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for consultation and assessment of patients referred to the Hip and Knee ASAP program.
  • Provide comprehensive physical assessments and triage patients for surgical consult or refer to non-surgical chronic disease management services.
  • Develop and implement shared-care management plans that emphasize patient education and referral to community resources for self-management strategies.
  • Collaborate with other members of the care team to provide effective consultation and support to patients.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Current full registration with the College of Physical Therapists of BC (CPTBC).
  • Five (5) years' clinical experience, including three (3) years' clinical experience in the musculoskeletal area of practice.
  • Successful completion of a relevant diagnostic imaging course.
