Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing inventory and ordering parts in a high-paced setting
  • Build relationships with wholesale and retail customers both in-person and via phone
  • Identify customer requirements to help locate necessary parts or services and recommend additional related options
  • Monitor inventory levels, reorder supplies, and manage special orders as required
  • Support the Parts Manager in addressing discrepancies between the digital inventory and the physical parts available
  • Collaborate closely with technicians in the service department
  • Gather necessary information for special orders and ensure accurate sourcing of parts. Attention to detail and multitasking are essential
  • Investigate the availability of specific parts, whether within the dealership or from external sources as needed
  • Become a vital member of a unified team that aims to provide the best possible experience for our Parts, Service, and Sales customers

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Parts Advisor in a dealership setting is essential
  • At least 1 year of experience in an automotive dealership and/or Parts Department
  • Familiarity with CDK and Star Parts is advantageous
  • Thorough understanding of Parts and Service operations along with inventory management
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Professional demeanor and high integrity, earning the trust of others
  • Detail-oriented, self-driven, and resourceful
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and MS Office applications
  • Ability to meet physical demands such as lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods
  • Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
