Crane Operator Position

We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team at 1327774 B.C. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in operating various types of cranes and will be responsible for the following:

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in crane operation
Work Environment
  • Outdoor settings
  • Work at heights
  • Exposure to noise and dust
Work Setting
  • Various locations including docksides and construction sites
  • Willingness to relocate may be required
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials
  • Perform cleaning and lubrication of cranes
  • Utilize pile driving cranes for driving pilings into the earth
  • Operate dragline cranes for mining operations
  • Conduct routine maintenance on equipment
Certificates and Training
  • WHMIS Certificate
  • First Aid Certification
  • Confined Space Entry Training
Types of Cranes Operated
  • Climbing cranes, fixed or limited mobility
  • Conventional cable cranes, wheeled
  • Pile drivers
Work Conditions
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Physically demanding tasks
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail required
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Work may involve sitting for extended periods
Requirements
  • Steel-toed safety boots are mandatory
