Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Oversee the installation of glass and aluminum systems, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of glaziers, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to complete projects to the highest standards.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to ensure that all work is being carried out to the required standards, and identify and address any quality control issues.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all team members are aware of and comply with health and safety regulations, and take steps to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Materials Management: Requisition and order materials and equipment as required, and ensure that all materials are stored and handled safely.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that all projects are completed to their satisfaction.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the glazing industry.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team of glaziers. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Work Environment: The successful candidate will be required to work on construction sites, and will be exposed to a variety of weather conditions.
- Physical Demands: The role will require the ability to lift and move heavy materials, and to work at heights.
