Job Overview:
Johnson Service Group is looking for a skilled professional to assist in the development and execution of our client's Facilities Integrity Management Program. This role is a temporary contract position that demands a candidate with substantial expertise in facility piping and pressure piping integrity management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and update the Facilities Integrity Management Program, concentrating on facility piping, pressure vessels, and storage tanks.
- Formulate and implement risk-based inspection (RBI) strategies.
- Develop procedures, work instructions, and inspection plans.
- Conduct site visits for visual assessments and data gathering.
- Mentor junior staff and oversee third-party inspectors.
- Analyze inspection outcomes and propose corrective measures.
- Create tools for data aggregation and risk evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree or Engineering Technologist diploma.
- Professional Engineer or Certified Technologist registration in relevant provinces.
- API 510 and/or API 570 certification (API 580 and API 653 certifications are advantageous).
- A minimum of 10 years of pertinent experience in integrity management of facility piping and pressure piping.
- Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations in the applicable provinces.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to travel to various company sites as needed.
- Strong communication skills for regular updates and coordination with personnel.
- Proficiency in developing and utilizing Excel-based tools for data management.
Work Environment:
The majority of the responsibilities can be fulfilled remotely, with travel required for site visits and meetings. Temporary workspaces will be provided at field locations as necessary.
