GENERAL FUNCTION
The Optical Sales Consultant plays a vital role in enhancing the lives of our customers by providing exceptional eye care services within the community. This position allows you to develop your sales and advisory skills while contributing to the achievement of team objectives.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve sales targets and company goals by nurturing existing customer relationships and establishing new ones.
- Utilize optical prescriptions to suggest appropriate lenses and coatings tailored to individual needs.
- Assist customers in selecting frames and align them with optical measurements to ensure the best vision solutions.
- Perform measurements using the necessary optical tools and collaborate with Opticians as required.
- Actively engage in creating a positive store atmosphere, building strong professional relationships with colleagues, management, and support staff.
- Maintain the store's appearance, ensuring displays and inventory are clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Promote an inclusive environment by treating customers and coworkers with dignity and respect.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service
- Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and basic math skills
- Adaptability to new technologies and changes with a high degree of accuracy
- Proven sales abilities and accountability for achieving sales results, with a strong desire to meet objectives.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks; capable of responding flexibly in a dynamic environment

Compensation is determined by various factors, including location, experience, qualifications, and skills. Additionally, a competitive bonus and/or commission plan may be available, complementing a comprehensive total rewards package.
