Job Title: Project Management Specialist

Job Summary:

Brunel is seeking a highly skilled Project Management Specialist to join our team. As a Project Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing project controls for a study and later at site. You will report to the overall Project Controls Manager and be responsible for project planning and scheduling, cost estimating and monitoring, progress measurement, risk management, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, including creating and updating project timelines, resource allocation, and task assignments.
  • Cost Estimating and Monitoring: Conduct cost estimates, track project expenses, and identify areas for cost savings.
  • Progress Measurement: Monitor and report on project progress, including tracking milestones, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including developing and implementing risk management plans.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, including project status, progress, and issues.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage project controls team members, including providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including project managers, team members, and clients.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent, and 10 years of experience in engineering, construction, project controls, or a related field, with at least 4 years of experience in a leadership role in project controls.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with project management software.
  • Experience: Experience in project management, cost estimating, and risk management, with a strong understanding of project controls principles and practices.
