Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Childcare Duties: Supervise and care for children, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Household Management: Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, performing light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment, including sterilizing bottles and preparing nutritious meals.
  • Developmental Support: Instruct children in personal hygiene, social skills, and assist with homework.
  • Activity Planning: Organize games and outings to promote physical and social development.
  • Emotional Support: Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing discipline as per parental guidelines.
  • Record Keeping: Keep detailed records of daily activities and health information regarding the children.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Previous experience in childcare is an asset.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, patience, and good time management.
  • Background Check: A criminal record check is required.

  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
