Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and uphold necessary certifications as required.
  • Collaborate closely with your supervisor.
  • Identify and manage safety hazards and environmental risks through established programs and tailored safety plans.
  • Assess site safety conditions and propose solutions for ongoing enhancement.
  • Act as a hole watch to ensure safety compliance.
  • Complete daily safety documentation on-site.
  • Assist site personnel in executing tasks while promoting worker engagement in all activities, including hazard assessments and procedure development.
  • Participate in pre-mobilization meetings to ensure effective implementation of site-specific work plans.
  • Attend joint contractor safety meetings.

Safety Certification Requirements

Safety certification and training will be provided to successful candidates, including:

  • Site-specific training
  • H2S Alive or Awareness
  • Confined Space Entry and/or Rescue
  • CSTS 2020
  • WHMIS 2015
  • Standard First Aid

Note: CSA steel-toed boots are mandatory, while all other personal protective equipment (PPE) will be supplied.

This role is seasonal and project-based, with project durations ranging from 1 to 6 months. Prolium undertakes projects across all provinces and territories in Canada.
