Position Overview

We are seeking your design expertise to enhance our company's achievements by creating advanced tracked assemblies that are both efficient and groundbreaking. As a member of our product development team, you will be dedicated to innovation, cutting-edge technology, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and model rubber tracked assemblies and components tailored for vehicle integration.
  2. Develop and model various testing setups while overseeing their production.
  3. Create installation tools and accessories customized for the product.
  4. Generate detailed manufacturing drawings.
  5. Engage in customer discussions alongside the technical team.
  6. Offer technical assistance to cross-functional product development teams.
  7. Contribute innovative concepts to shape the technological roadmap for new advancements.
  8. Participate in feasibility assessments and project planning activities.
  9. Support production during prototype manufacturing or initial production phases.
  10. Oversee the machining of parts while providing technical guidance to suppliers.

Qualifications

  1. DEC in Mechanical Engineering with a design/manufacturing focus or DEP in industrial drafting.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in drafting and/or designing intricate mechanical systems, preferably within the transportation, snowmobile, or heavy vehicle sectors.
  3. Strong understanding of mechanics, machining processes, and casting design.
  4. Proficient in CAD software (Solid Edge is a plus).
  5. Exceptional analytical abilities and self-sufficiency.
  6. A creative mindset with a readiness to explore unconventional ideas.
  7. Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  8. Experience with motorized vehicles is advantageous.
  9. Intermediate proficiency in English for effective communication with English-speaking clients is a plus.
