Dental Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Aldershot Village Dental. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for dental examinations and ensure they are comfortable and relaxed throughout the process.
- Order dental and office supplies to maintain a well-stocked and efficient dental practice.
- Perform administrative functions for the dental laboratory, including scheduling and confirming appointments.
- Prepare dental instruments and filling materials to ensure they are clean and ready for use.
- Maintain and order supplies to ensure the dental practice is well-stocked and efficient.
- Perform reception and clerical duties, including answering phones and responding to patient inquiries.
- Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide guidance on how to maintain good oral health.
- Polish teeth and clinical crowns and apply fluoride and sealant as needed.
- Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays to assist with dental procedures.
- Schedule and confirm appointments to ensure patients are seen in a timely manner.
- Record dental procedures performed on patients to maintain accurate records.
- Invoice patients for dental services to ensure timely payment.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a dental setting.
- Permanent employment opportunity.
- English language proficiency.
- 40 hours per week of work.
