This position entails overseeing a group of logistics professionals tasked with coordinating commercial activities related to our refinery and trading operations in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage a team of logistics specialists focused on Canadian crude oil operations.
- Facilitate coaching and professional growth for the scheduling team.
- Execute daily scheduling to fulfill obligations and oversee inventory management.
- Engage with Trading to maximize inventory efficiency and pinpoint market prospects.
- Track transaction performance and nurture robust external partnerships.
- Ensure adherence to operational protocols and maintain current practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Authorized to work in the designated country.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- 7+ years of experience in downstream operations or trading environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a supervisory role.
- 5+ years of experience in scheduling functions.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4 and analytical software.
- Proven leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
- Capacity to adjust to evolving circumstances and priorities.
