About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Framer-Carpenter to join our team at Rai Star Custom Homes Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction of our custom homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of other tradespeople
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in the construction industry is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
