Job Summary

Mary Mackay is seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to provide care and assistance to elderly and disabled individuals in their homes. This is a temporary position with a 40-hour workweek.

Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, including bathing and personal hygiene
  • Assist clients with daily activities, such as feeding, laundry, and light housekeeping
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Shop for food and household supplies, and prepare nutritious meals
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
