About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Worker to join our team at Gold's Gym British Columbia. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fitness equipment and maintaining the overall appearance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair duties related to buildings and fitness equipment, including mechanical and electrical work.
  • Conduct basic drywall duties, including boarding, mudding, taping, and sanding.
  • Maintain the general physical appearance of the buildings and grounds, including landscaping and snow clearing when required.
  • Complete general plumbing repairs, such as leaky taps, replaced and/or repair plugged toilets, drains, etc.
  • Document all repair, maintenance, and inspection work carried out in the specified format.
  • Complete all maintenance requests in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Class 5 driver's license and ability to commute around Vancouver, Port Coquitlam, and Langley as needed.
  • Electrical and plumbing experience is an asset.
  • Provincial, vocational, or professional certificate/degree is an asset.
  • Able to perform physical duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, reliability, and teamwork skills.
