Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Android Architect to lead our Infotainment IVI team at Wipro Technologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for refactoring our existing product and improving its performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues reported by our validation team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies to resolve problems efficiently.
Technical Requirements
  • Strong understanding of Android architecture and the Android HAL Layer, preferably Android-O or later.
  • Knowledge of Automotive SoC architecture, including application processors and vehicle processors.
  • Experience with Android codebase, including the application layer (Java), JNI, and native frameworks (C).
  • Proficiency in Android programming environments, such as Binders, Shared memory, and IPC mechanisms.
  • Expertise in Android Services/Framework layer and debugging techniques.
  • Programming experience in Kotlin, C, and C++.
  • Deep understanding of Vehicle Interface and Infotainment systems.
  • Strong debugging skills to troubleshoot problems in any layer of Android.
  • Experience in developing Android Infotainment systems, covering areas such as Navigation, Connectivity (WiFi, BT), and Projection (Android Auto, Carplay).
  • Familiarity with tools like GIT & Gerrit, JIRA, Android source build system, and Android debugging tools.
