About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Operations Manager to join our team at Stephano Group Ltd. As a key member of our bakery operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and baking of a wide range of products, including bread, pastries, and cakes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Preparation: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Baking and Quality Control: Bake mixed dough and batters, and ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff, and ensure that all team members are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Operational Management: Operate machinery, inspect kitchen and food service areas, and ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Security and Safety: Conduct criminal record checks and ensure that all team members are aware of and adhere to our security and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-40 hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and management.
