Job Summary

We are seeking an adaptable and experienced Project Manager to join our team specializing in large-scale projects. The successful candidate will assist clients across different disciplines, providing creative solutions and implementing best project management practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and collaborate with clients on large-scale projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery;
  • Propose solutions to enhance project quality and performance, leveraging expertise in project management;
  • Identify and address issues that may impact project budgets and timelines, exercising sound judgment and problem-solving skills;
  • Manage relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors, fostering strong partnerships and open communication;
  • Assist in design and construction management, applying knowledge of engineering principles and practices;
  • Participate in contract negotiations and procurement activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures;
  • Read and understand engineering plans and technical specifications, analyzing complex data and making informed decisions;
  • Manage construction contracts and scopes of work, ensuring accurate and timely execution;
  • Contribute to overall project management activities, providing strategic guidance and support to project teams.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree required, with a strong foundation in project management principles and practices;
  • Professional Engineer designation in Canada, with a proven track record of success in project management;
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in project management, with a focus on large-scale projects and specialized services;
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with excellent time management and prioritization skills;
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts effectively.
