Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage department staffing levels to meet business needs and ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve associate performance, including coaching, training, and recognition programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and asset protection standards and protocols, and investigate any incidents or near-misses.
  • Process and prepare paperwork for shipping products, including Bills of Lading, Shipping Invoices, and Freight Cost.
  • Operate powered lift equipment, such as electrical pallet jacks, slip sheet machines, reach trucks, order pickers, and fork lifts, to load trailers and assemble orders.
  • Train and develop associates to reduce shrink and improve inventory accuracy.
  • Unload merchandise and check quantity and quality, including RGR (Rough Good Receipt) and DGR (Detail Good Receipt).

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a supervisor or leading teams in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Excellent decision-making ability and problem-solving skills.
