Accounts Payable Administrator Job Description

Company Overview

The Dilawri Group of Companies is a leading Canadian automotive retailer seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Administrator to join our Regional Accounting team at our Regional Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and reconcile vendor invoices, purchase orders, and credit card statements
  • Verify and match invoices to purchase orders and process bi-weekly on-demand cheques
  • Process monthly cheque run and reconcile electronic transfer payments account
  • Reconcile vendor statements, manufacturer statements, and sublet and payables schedules
  • Filing and maintaining accurate records
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of the accounting cycle and Accounts Payable experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to handle high volume of transactions within tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and positive attitudes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Automotive experience and CDK experience
