We are looking for a Trust Fund Financial Specialist to enhance our BPA division.
The Trust Fund Financial Specialist will oversee a select portfolio of trust fund clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare journal entries and ensure accurate GL transactions;
- Reconcile all balance sheet and income statement accounts;
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports;
- Manage government remittances;
- Monitor cash flow and execute bank transfers for surplus fund investments;
- Generate cash flow, investment, and other reports as required by clients;
- Prepare working papers and support during annual audits;
- Address and resolve client-related inquiries;
- Conduct daily accounting tasks for clients.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an office setting with a focus on accounting;
- Proficiency in full-cycle accounting;
- College or University Diploma in business administration, emphasizing accounting;
- Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office applications, with intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel;
- A collaborative team player with robust mathematical abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field;
- Progress towards CPA certification is advantageous;
- 3 years of experience in a corporate accounting setting.
