About the Role: As a Labourer with Border Paving Ltd., you will be responsible for performing a diverse range of tasks in a fast-paced outdoor environment. This role requires physical fitness and the ability to work for extended periods of time in variable conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and move construction materials around the worksite as required.
  • Site Preparation: Dig and fill holes manually where heavy equipment use is not practical.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Heavy Equipment Operation: Occasionally operate heavy equipment such as rollers and skid steers.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Work a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends, and out-of-town assignments as required during the construction season.
  • Health and Safety: Comply with safe working procedures and practices to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as required to support the team and achieve company objectives.

Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to local candidates who possess a valid Class 5 license.
