About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our team at Siemens Canada Limited. As a key member of our Electrical Distribution team, you will play a critical role in managing multiple projects focused on the manufacturing of Low Voltage Electrical products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage mid to large size projects, working closely with engineering, analyzing technical specifications, single line diagrams, electrical room layouts and designs.
  • Develop project schedules, align resources to assure smooth project execution.
  • Procure materials and monitor production activities.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, conduct risk analysis and develop mitigation plans.
  • Verify execution of the project through clean hand over meetings and customer kick off meetings.
  • Daily communication to all stakeholders and exchange technical requirements and project plan information.
  • Work closely with vendors across US and Canada which includes Low Voltage distribution products.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to increase productivity and achieve milestones, report on progress to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • PMP certification or over 2 years of experience in project coordination/management is highly desirable.
  • Aptitude in managing multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with MS office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • SAP or similar ERP system experience is an asset.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex problems.
