Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Supervisor to join our team at METRO XPRESS INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our transportation department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze production reports to ensure efficient operations
  • Supervise a team of 3-4 employees and provide guidance on tasks and projects
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure employees have the necessary skills to perform their duties
  • Coordinate the dispatch of bus drivers and monitor routes to ensure timely and safe transportation
  • Operate and monitor signal and track switch control panels to ensure smooth operations
  • Coordinate repairs and rentals of equipment and supplies
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
  • Organized and team-oriented individual
