Job Title: Transportation Supervisor

At METRO XPRESS INC, we are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our transportation department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate: Ensure the smooth operation of our transportation services, including the supervision of drivers and dispatchers.
  • Report Preparation: Prepare and submit accurate reports on transportation activities, including production and other relevant metrics.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for drivers and dispatchers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that our drivers and dispatchers are aware of and adhere to these regulations.
  • Personnel Management: Recommend personnel actions, including hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions, as needed.
  • Logistics and Operations: Coordinate and schedule activities, including the requisitioning of materials, equipment, and supplies.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a transportation or logistics role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
