About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to all customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Maintain a thorough knowledge of our products and services, and make recommendations to customers to meet their needs.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and performing data entry tasks.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, handle cash, cheques, credit card, and automatic debit payments, and maintain a high level of accuracy in all transactions.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking, air-conditioned, and clean.
  • Work Setting: On-site customer service, retail business, supermarket/grocery store, liquor and wine store, and bakery.
  • Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, physically demanding, and repetitive tasks.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
