About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at ETAC Service & Supply Inc. as a key member of our engineering department. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems and equipment, as well as supervising technicians and engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Conduct feasibility studies, design operation and performance research of electrical generation and distribution networks, and prepare material cost and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications.
  • Project Management: Supervise technicians, technologists, programmers, analysts, and other engineers, and set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
  • Technical Leadership: Develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment, investigate electrical or electronic failures, and conduct micro or nanodevices simulations, characterization, process modeling, and integration in the development of new electronic devices and products.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in design, development, and project management.
  • Certifications: Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Windows, and electronic mail, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
