The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience and expertise in corporate sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategies, as well as project management. A successful track record in assisting clients with the development of sustainability strategies, reporting, and implementation programs is essential. The candidate will also be adept at guiding a talented delivery team.
Key Responsibilities:
Client and Project Management
- Oversee the execution of projects within our core Sustainability Advisory services, ensuring adherence to quality, timelines, and budgetary constraints. Utilize established methodologies for assessing materiality and facilitating comprehensive reporting.
- Manage multiple client engagements of varying complexity and scale.
- Establish and maintain strong, trustworthy relationships with clients and partners.
- Exhibit exceptional analytical, writing, and presentation skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Demonstrate effective project management capabilities throughout the project lifecycle, including scoping, budgeting, and delivery.
- Meet personal billability targets and contribute to revenue goals.
Team Collaboration
- Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering a supportive environment that promotes employee satisfaction and high-quality outputs.
- Engage proactively with ERM colleagues globally for knowledge sharing and business development.
- Build relationships with external stakeholders and thought leaders in the sustainability sector.
Business Development
- Support business development initiatives and the promotion of Corporate Sustainability Advisory services.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to formulate strategies for acquiring new business opportunities.
- Listen attentively to client needs and co-create value-driven solutions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a consulting role with a focus on client delivery and business development.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Experience across various sectors, including energy, manufacturing, and mining, is advantageous.
- Effective communicator capable of delivering messages to executive audiences.
- Experience in managing and developing team members.
