Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in Toronto, ON, CA. As a key member of our project engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing signaling solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop signaling solutions for rail transportation systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical consistency and feasibility of system requirements
  • Develop interface specifications for external interfaces and internal sub-systems
  • Ensure system performance meets defined needs and enhancements
  • Participate in internal technical meetings and support project team for technical discussions with customers
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Systems Engineering or equivalent design experience
  • 7 years of experience working on signaling projects as a sub-system or system engineer, desired
  • Professional Engineer certification or in progress
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, multi-site, global environment
