Job Title: Inside Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team at Sunbelt Rentals of Canada Inc.

Job Summary:

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and processing sales and rental transactions. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process sales and rental transactions, including preparing sales and rental contracts, and operating cash registers.
  • Operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Provide advice and guidance to customers on merchandise and services.
  • Advertise and promote products, sales, and services to customers.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate sales records for inventory control.
  • Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical demands include standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working in a clean and safe environment.

  • Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
  • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
