We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at North Western Aluminum Ltd. as a key member of our construction crew.
Key Responsibilities- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Site Preparation: Assist in setting up scaffolding, ramps, and other equipment necessary for construction projects.
- Construction Support: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Clean and pile salvaged materials, perform routine maintenance work, and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
- Debris Removal: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
- Supply Management: Set up assembly lines with materials and supplies required for production, and load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment.
The Construction Laborer will work in a fast-paced construction environment, requiring physical stamina and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking positions.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience is an asset.
- Language: English.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
