Job Summary

WTC Trucking BC Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operations: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics Coordination: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with our team.
  • Cargo Management: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, maintaining accurate records for our operations.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo through proper tarping and handling procedures.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Work Conditions: Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate flexibility, judgment, and reliability in your work, with a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
