Position Overview

The role of the Accounting Bookkeeper at Hillcrest & Parkland Players Ltd. involves maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the integrity of financial data.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare payroll cheques.
  • Maintain and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Prepare trial balances of financial records.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, MS Word, QuickBooks, and MS Office.
  • Experience with spreadsheet applications.
Equipment Proficiency
  • Familiarity with scanners and other office equipment.
Specialization

Focus on Accounting practices and principles.

Safety and Security

Must pass a criminal record check.
