We are seeking a skilled and motivated General Farm Worker to join our team at Out of the Blue Lifestyle Inc.

Job Summary:

The General Farm Worker will be responsible for performing various tasks related to farming, including applying fertilizers, cleaning crops, and clearing fields of wood and stones.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply fertilizers to crops to promote healthy growth
  • Clean crops to ensure they are free of debris and pests
  • Clear fields of wood and stones to prepare them for planting
  • Cultivate crops on vertical farming systems
  • Cut agricultural crops to harvest them
  • Hand harvest vegetables to ensure they are of high quality
  • Harvest seedlings to plant them in the field
  • Maintain and manage the growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes
  • Sort fruits and vegetables to ensure they are of high quality
  • Weeding to prevent weeds from competing with crops for water and nutrients
  • Clean the work area to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Harvest crops to bring them to market
  • Examine products for quality and readiness for market
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods
