About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Canadian Tire 351. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers and provide assistance with purchases, answering questions and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a high level of knowledge about our products, including features, benefits, and pricing.
  • Sales: Meet or exceed sales targets by identifying and responding to customer needs, making recommendations, and closing sales.
  • Store Operations: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and cash wrap area.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide support during peak periods, and participate in store events and promotions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Previous retail sales experience an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong work ethic.
