Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Veterinary Technician to join our team at Accoravillage. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to animals, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to the growth and development of our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care, including medical procedures, laboratory testing, and medication administration
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and other team members to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Supervise and mentor junior veterinary technicians to enhance their technical skills and knowledge
  • Participate in continuing education programs to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and technologies
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • 5+ years of clinical experience as a registered veterinary technician
  • VTNE certification or soon-to-be certification
  • Good standing with provincial regulatory association
