Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at 4 Paws Veterinary Hospital.
Job Summary:The Registered Veterinary Technician will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting veterinarians with medical procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.
Responsibilities:- Collect and process laboratory samples for diagnostic testing
- Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including surgery and dental care
- Administer medications and vaccines as prescribed by veterinarians
- Provide exceptional patient care, including handling, restraining, and caring for animals
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
- Assist with office management and clerical duties, including answering phones and scheduling appointments
- Registration as a Registered Veterinary Technician with a provincial or territorial association
- 1-2 years of experience in a veterinary setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to lift and move animals and equipment
