Guest Services Representative

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Associate to join our team at Serena Properties Inc. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and accurate manner.
- Front Desk Operations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel and change room reservations, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Guest Communication: Provide general information about points of interest in the area and assist guests with special needs.
- Financial Transactions: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
- Administrative Tasks: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, including faxing, filing, and photocopying.
- Customer Service: Answer telephone calls and relay messages, and provide exceptional customer service to guests.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience is an asset.
- Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in multi-line switchboard, word processing software, and internet.
- Security and Safety: Must undergo a criminal record check.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and work under pressure.
As a Hotel Front Desk Associate at Serena Properties Inc., you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, interacting with guests and colleagues from diverse backgrounds. You will be required to work 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime.
