About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at 1722025 ALBERTA LTD. as a key member of our facilities management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning supplies and services.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify areas where additional services may be required, such as painting or repairs, and recommend these to management.
  • Maintain Financial Records: Ensure that all financial records related to cleaning operations are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Receive Payments: Process payments for specialized cleaning jobs and ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded.
  • Assist Cleaners: Provide support and guidance to cleaning staff as needed, ensuring that they have the necessary resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure that cleaning operations are coordinated and efficient.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and manage work schedules for cleaning staff to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
About You

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and leadership skills. The successful candidate will have a strong background in facilities management and a proven track record of success in supervising and coordinating cleaning operations.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort
  • Supervision: 5-10 people
  • Certificates, Licenses, Memberships, and Courses: Not required
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, manual dexterity, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, initiative, reliability
