Position Overview

As a Baker at Canyon Creek Golf Course and Camping, you will play a vital role in our culinary team, creating a variety of baked goods that delight our guests. Your expertise will contribute to the overall dining experience we offer.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a trades certificate or diploma in baking or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough for a range of baked items including breads, pastries, and desserts, following established recipes or special requests.
  • Order and manage the inventory of ingredients and baking supplies.
  • Operate baking equipment and machinery efficiently.
  • Ensure all baked products meet our high-quality standards.
  • Decorate and frost cakes and other baked goods to enhance presentation.
  • Develop production schedules to ensure timely availability of baked items.
  • Oversee the merchandising and sales of baked products.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
