We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at B.C. Cafe Ltd. as a key member of our culinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Order supplies and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen performance.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Recruit and hire staff to support the growth and development of our culinary team.
- Organize buffets and banquets to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to train and supervise kitchen staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Dependability, reliability, and a client-focused approach to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
