Schedule Coordinator, Steelmaking Business Unit

We are seeking a highly skilled Schedule Coordinator to join our Steelmaking Business Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure optimal utilization of resources and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities using Quintiq, CMMS, and Microsoft Project tools to ensure optimal resource utilization and minimize downtime.
- Develop and maintain detailed job timelines and schedules to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and optimize resource allocation.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management and stakeholders on schedule progress and any issues that may arise.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance scheduling efficiency and effectiveness.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Project.
- Experience with scheduling software and practices, including Quintiq and CMMS.
- Knowledge of process equipment setup requirements, typical equipment inspections, and change-outs.
- Understanding of workforce, maintenance planning, and scheduling techniques.
- Knowledge of project management methods, including logic work breakdown schedules and Gantt diagramming techniques.
- Competitive hourly rates and shift premium.
- On your first day, you will be eligible for a bonus paid quarterly based on company performance.
