Leuschen Transportation is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Bus Driver to transport students to and from school. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our passengers.
Key Responsibilities- Transportation: Safely transport students to and from school, following established routes and schedules.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with passengers, dispatchers, and other drivers using two-way radio systems.
- Safety and Security: Ensure the safety of children when boarding and leaving buses and crossing streets while the bus is stopped.
- Logistics: Complete logbooks and reports, and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and passenger information.
- Certifications: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Willingness to train and learn.
- Personal Qualities: Flexibility, judgment, organization, reliability, and a team player attitude.
- Financial: Bonus and life insurance.
- Work Schedule: 15 to 30 hours per week.
- Language: English or French.
