Logistics Coordinator

GK Courier Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team.
Job SummaryThe Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the operational logistics of the organization, including preparing and submitting reports, resolving work problems, and training workers in duties and policies.
Key Responsibilities- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Problem-Solving: Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to staff, recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff as needed.
- Work Coordination: Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure efficient use of resources and meet deadlines.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced office environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time, with frequent walking and lifting of up to 25 pounds.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Reliability: Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with staff to achieve common goals.
