Role Overview

Schneider Electric's Sales Operation Team is seeking a dedicated and driven individual to take on the position of Project Operations Supervisor. This role is essential in overseeing project timelines and ensuring deliverables are met while leading a team of Project Managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a project team within a designated regional area.
  • Support the creation, monitoring, and execution of training and development initiatives.
  • Engage in the recruitment process for new team members.
  • Conduct performance management and address HR-related matters.
  • Guide the project team in managing and delivering projects from initiation to completion.
  • Handle resource distribution and manage daily operational tasks.
  • Provide leadership and assistance to the project team.
  • Organize and monitor project schedules and track deliverables with appropriate tools.
  • Ensure that project outcomes align with the company's quality benchmarks and contractual obligations.
  • Maintain comprehensive and organized project documentation.
  • Facilitate effective meetings with team members and clients.
  • Build and nurture relationships with clients and consultants to promote long-term collaboration.
  • Follow up with clients regarding outstanding invoices as necessary.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing internal processes and propose viable solutions.

Qualifications for Success

  • A minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role within a project-focused environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrated project management experience of 5-10 years in the electrical sector is preferred.
  • Project Management certification (CAPM or PMP) is advantageous.
  • Relevant Electrical education or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Effective planning, organizational skills, and decision-making capabilities are required.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills are necessary.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks is crucial.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (bFO) is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally is required.
