Job Summary

NFI Group Inc. is a leading global bus manufacturer providing a comprehensive suite of mass transportation solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Systems Analyst to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Support the continuous improvement of Finance systems and processes by implementing solutions to maximize department efficiencies.
  • Business Process Improvement: Drive projects and support operational activities as part of aligning Finance and Tax with all business units across NFI Group.
  • System Configuration and Development: Implement and support system solutions that align with the strategic direction of Finance and Tax and the organization as a whole.
  • Business Analysis: Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of business and systems processes, the information/data required and generated by these processes, and the system functionality that ensures these processes are cost-effective and efficient.
  • Stakeholder Management: Organize and facilitate meetings and interviews with business users and subject-matter experts (SME) to gather information to identify and define their business processes and the scope and impact of their business process issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities in the business through reviews and assessments of current business processes and systems.
  • System Testing: Lead acceptance testing of new business systems and enhancements to ensure system functions following detailed specifications.
  • Process Standardization: Consolidate finance and tax processes to best practice for all locations when possible.
  • Process Documentation: Develop and apply the team's Standard Operating Procedures (templates, metrics, etc.).
Requirements
  • Education: Project Management and/or Business/Systems Analysis training is strongly recommended. CA, CGA, CMA, CPA designation, or significant experience in finance/accounting roles.
  • Experience: 3-5 Years' experience implementing/supporting/administrating ERPs.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Lean Yellow Belt certification is an asset. Exceptional planning, organization, analytical, interpersonal, leadership, and decision-making skills. Thorough knowledge of business process redesign or reengineering.
